There will be an Easter Egg Hunt and best Easter Display and Bonnet competitions (prizes awarded) followed by Roast Beef or Roast Turkey lunch with all the trimmings for £9.95

Call the pub on 720389 to book a place (s) for both the meal and the competitions, as places are limited

3 course roast beef lunch available for diners in fancy dress, the interior of the pub will be appropriately themed.

Price and further details to follow, but places limited to 20, so get a reminder in your diary!

Box office expected to open on 1st April, ticket price expected to be £7/adult, £4 u/16's, proceeds to go to, amongst others, the Diamond Jubilee celebrations in the Village and Motor Neurone Disease

Preliminary notice of big push with our efforts towards Best Kept Village in this very special Jubilee year.

It has been decided to hold a competition for the best hanging basket or window box or large pot on display at the front of your house in colours red, white and blue (must include all 3 colours, and there is one winner only, there will be a prize). So now is the time to get planning and put in your seed order (that's if you want to grow your own plants) for more details see below:

STOP PRESS: Prize to be £50 in garden vouchers, if the event proves to be successful, there will be a trophy as well, so get planting!
