It has become apparent that the Parish Council do not own the land concerned, so some research is needed to track down who does own the land, and discuss the matter with them before we can consider any possibility of landscaping works. We would also need to investigate how such a scheme could be financed, and we are therefore looking into the possibility of obtaining a grant.

Duck Pond & Green
Background: Mentioned in the Parish Plan environment section, a lot of interest was generated and the scrubland around the site of the original duck pond was cleared so that the various options could be considered, although pipes and cables running through the Village Green prohibit restoration of the Pond in its original position. There are also concerns about health and safety issues.
